COVID-19 Business Continuity Plan

UPDATE – Oct. 27, 2020: For nearly seven months now, COVID-19 has greatly impacted our lives and A.B. Data has responded to this outbreak by having nearly all of our team members work remotely. We are keenly monitoring ongoing developments from the CDC and other official sources for their recommendations and, after careful consideration, we have decided to have all team members who are able to work from home to continue doing so for the foreseeable future.

To best protect our in-house team members from threats of infection, A.B. Data has implemented several safety procedures over the past seven months. Each day before entering the office, each team member is required to complete a short online survey that asks if they have shown any potential symptoms of COVID-19. If not, he/she is given a QR code to use at a robotic device by our main offices’ entrances that both takes the employee’s temperature and then accepts their QR code as verification of their good health. Additional measures such as labeled walking paths, distance protocols, cleaning stations, and providing masks and hand sanitizer have gone a long way toward enhancing the safety of our in-house employees. To date, we have received no on-site COVID-19 cases.

A.B. Data’s business operations are continuing as normal.

UPDATE – April 23, 2020: As we come together during this uncertain and challenging time, A.B. Data extends our sincere appreciation to all those who continue working on the front lines to keep our country running strong. If you have friends and family who are healthcare workers, first responders, teachers, transit workers, mail carriers, delivery people, grocers, farmers, factory workers, sanitation workers, civil servants, members of the military, or others on the front lines, please give them a special “thank you” from us. Without their sacrifices, many aspects of our daily lives and health would be in jeopardy.

I am pleased to share that our employees are donating money to support those who may be out of work due to COVID-19 and have concerns about feeding their families and staying in their home. This has truly been a group effort in showing our empathy for those less fortunate.

A.B. Data’s staff has been working diligently to keep our business operations running smoothly during the past couple months. We have made accommodations enabling most team members to operate from home or, if unable, in the office under proper health and safety measures. These efforts have allowed us to continue delivering timely and quality work to our valued clients while keeping our employees’ job security stable. We are grateful to have such a hard-working and dedicated team.

UPDATE – April 7, 2020: As an essential business, A.B. Data continues to operate our offices without interruption and with no expected delays in service during the COVID-19 outbreak. All personnel who can work remotely based on their job functions are working from home, and we are beginning to settle into our temporary norm.

In our ongoing efforts to protect the wellness of our employees who are working onsite, A.B. Data continues to follow CDC health and safety guidance while monitoring for new developments as they arise. Our success so far has been a team effort, and everyone is supporting one another during these difficult times. To date, no incidents involving COVID-19 have occurred among our staff.

We are very proud of our team as they remain diligent in their roles during these unprecedented times. A.B Data is committed to providing the best service possible to our clients.

UPDATE – March 24, 2020: Many states have begun implementing stricter quarantine measures for people to stay at home to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Only ‘critical’ businesses are allowed to have their staff continue traveling to and from work under these orders. A.B. Data is considered a critical business.

Therefore, our offices will remain open and operational across all facilities. All A.B. Data offices remain fully staffed with either remote or onsite workers and have not had any incidents involving COVID-19 to date. Should our Milwaukee print site have to be quarantined, we have back up printing and mailing facilities in Scottsdale, Arizona that are ready to operate. As of now, we anticipate ongoing continuity of business and no interruptions in our services.

All A.B. Data offices are taking precautions to protect the health and safety of our staff. All employees whose job functions allow are working from home, and we are implementing CDC guidance for proper social distancing, cleaning, and sanitizing in office.
